Best possible care in an emergency: Helios Hospital Bonn/Rhein-Sieg confirmed as local trauma center
The Helios Hospital Bonn/Rhein-Sieg was once again confirmed by the DGU to treat severely injured patients at a high level.
In an emergency, rapid, high-quality patient care is imperative for a successful recovery. The prerequisite for this is a close-knit network of well-equipped emergency rooms and experienced nursing staff and doctors. The fact that care is also provided at the highest medical level at Helios Hospital Bonn/Rhein-Sieg has now been certified by the successful re-certification of the German Society for Trauma Surgery (DGU). "I am very pleased about our renewed so successful award and thank all colleagues who have contributed to this great success," Prof. Dr. Gregor Stein, Chief Physician of Orthopedics, Trauma and Spine Surgery, is proud.
The Helios Hospital auf dem Hardtberg is integrated into the Bonn-Rhein Sieg trauma network and offers one of the most modern emergency rooms in the region - with 16 monitor stations including its own shock room. At the same time, the experienced, trauma surgery team covers the entire spectrum of injuries to the bones, joints and spine. "With the renewed certification as a TraumaCenter, we demonstrably demonstrate our consistently high standards of care. Seriously injured patients are in the best hands with us around the clock," explains Prof. Stein. Re-certification takes place every three years after intensive audits and has now been successfully renewed for the first time at Hardtberg.
