Helios Hospital Bad Saarow stands for health at Lake Scharmützel. With professional expertise, state-of-the-art medical equipment and human care, we offer high-end medicine to our patients. The completely refurbished hospital with a capacity of 585 beds offers virtually the full range of medical services in 17 specialist departments, two institutes, a central accident and emergency department and a central laboratory. With the Academy of Health and the affiliated Landesrettungsschule Brandenburg e.V., the air ambulance base operated by DRF Luftrettung, the helicopter landing deck as well as a certified Regional Trauma Center, Helios Hospital Bad Saarow offers a high level of expertise in emergency and rescue medicine.
In addition to oncology, the hospital particularly specialises in the disciplines of gynecology, cardiology, vascular surgery as well as neurology and neuroradiology.
Being an Academic Teaching Hospital of the Brandenburg Theodor Fontane University of Applied Sciences, it additionally engages in the teaching and education of medical students.

Bad Saarow is located roughly 70 km southeast of Berlin on the banks of the Scharmützel lake, one of the most beautiful and charming inland waterways of Europe.
